The two-day IPL Mega Auction for the 2025 season has begun, with the second and final day (November 25) of the auction now underway. A total of 132 players will be auctioned on the second day. The remaining budget for all 10 teams combined is ₹173.55 crore.

On the first day, the IPL witnessed record-breaking bids on three players, making history with the highest-ever bids in the tournament’s history. These players include wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer, and all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer. Rishabh Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for a staggering ₹27 crore, making him the most expensive player in IPL history.
